Two different programs, MBR works “bottom-up” (body to mind), to resolve physical habits of stress and anxiety and restore ease.  MBSR works “top-down” (mind to body), to lessen the grip our mind can have on us and teach us how to see things differently.

MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction)
MBSR provides mindfulness tools that reduce stress and mindless habits of reactivity.  This course is an exploration into mindful wellness.

Mind-Body Reset (MBR)
MBR helps to lessen the effects of overwork, overwhelm, and being stretched too thin in the modern world.

The Mind-Body Reset (MBR) is a groundbreaking curriculum that has been developed for people who suffer from anxiety, stress, hot & cold flashes, insomnia, digestive upset, and other symptoms like worry, difficulty concentrating, and overwhelm.

Science is now showing that for some populations meditation alone does not sufficiently reduce anxiety, overwhelm and related symptoms. MBR teaches important to recover from stress.  MBR teaches you how to use your own personal physiology to your advantage, rather than being a victim to system overload. MBR will use your body’s own intelligence to deal with and recover from stressful situations.

The skills and practices taught in MBR actually reset a person’s baseline so that they can function with a deeper sense of ease and presence. People who incorporate MBR skills into their lives feel better, feel centered and clear, have better digestion, sleep better, maintain healthy body temperature, and they are more emotionally balanced.

Each class includes guided practice sessions, group discussions and individual support, and information about how to reset your unique mind and body.

MBSR Classes 

Cultivate mindful awareness of your body, mind, and heart.
Empower yourself to take an active role in your health and wellness.

Each class will cover specific effects of stress on your body, mind, relationships, work, and more. Effective tools to help build stress resilience and stress recovery will be taught and refined each session. Classes include lecture, guided stress-reduction practices (meditation and body scan), group sharing, Q & A session. Outside of class, you will use your downloads to practice guided meditation, body scan, and mindful yoga each week.Each participant will be assigned a buddy, for weekly check-ins and support for developing your new skills.
